I woke up at 11, it was so hot and I suddenly felt the urge to go to the beach. When I got there, I was happily lying on the sand, writing on my journal and kind of just soul-searching. I'd only been there for an hour when this dodgy looking old, fat man wearing gulagulanit grey tshirt and dirty baseball hat positioned himself in front of me. E medyo he was kinda near me talaga. The distance between us was only about 5 feet. And the whole time, he was naka-dapa so he was facing me which made it more uncomfortable. Diba you have this feeling lang minsan when you just know you don't want to be near a certain kind of person? He wasn't particularly weird or anything and he wasn't giving me bad looks but I just had this nagging, uncomfortable feeling. So I got up, took my belongings and decided to move to a different area far from him. I went for a fair bit and made sure I was around more people before I laid my stuff on the sand again. I didn't take off my skirt right away just in case this guy might follow cos when I was walking away, I saw him looking at where I was going. After about 2 minutes, I saw him stand up and he was walking to the area where I was! I told myself, fuck lang talaga if this guy moves here too. Sure enough, he went to a spot not as near me, pero dun din! I freaked out na talaga and I just grabbed my stuff and left. I didn't even bother putting a shirt on...I just wanted to get away from him as fast as I could. I called Den and told her about the guy. She said umalis na daw ako. And I did. Sayang, I really wanted to stay at the beach a little bit more but that was just freaky. I was really scared cos what if this man follows me on the bus or something right? I kept looking behind my back, baka mamaya andyan na sya. Hay! Bakit ganon? Parang magnet ako ng mga weirdo. Do I have some invisible sign on my forehead???
Went to Bondi Junction na lang and oh lord, I fell in love with these boots from Wittner. Den eto sya: Meant kami promise! When I tried them on, the terracotta one, they were just PERFECT. Hindi lang perfect sa kanya ang tag price. Frickin $289 mehn!!! Ayayayay!!! Di ko yata kaya! Even Den was like, "uhm, I don't think I've paid that much for shoes ever." Pero ang ganda nya. Sobra. I might have to starve myself for this. Hehehe.

Haaay I'm so glad the week is FINALLY over. Naisip ko, I think I'm really ready to quit my job because I find the days more and more dragging. Only the kids make me smile there. Anyway, I've just booked my Melbourne tickets tonight. I've been procrastinating about it cos I haven't asked Tessa if I can take the Friday (24th) off for the U2 concert. Good thing I asked her today before booking at Virgin because apparently I can't take that Friday off cos SHE's taking it off as well...to Melbourne, too! May engagement party of her niece or sumthin. Whatever. So I asked na lang if I could have an early shift para I can take an afternoon flight out. When I got home, I quickly logged on Virginblue only to find out the promo fares for that day are SOLD OUT! LAHAT! The concert's at 8ish and the only flights left are 9pm or early in the day ones! The next fares are about $205 ONE WAY! FUUUUCKER! And then another $115 (cheapest) to fly back at 6am Sunday (sold out early flights for Monday na rin). I was in panic mode again. I don't want to miss U2 just because of this!!! I was about the book na, bahala na si Batman with my credit card bill but good thing I checked Jetstar. They had fares much much cheaper than Virginblue and availability to fly out in the afternoon (I'm taking a 4:55 getting there at 6:30). OK lang if I took a 6am flight back to Sydney -- $89 lang naman. My ticket was only $218 return na. WHEW! It's a month pa away but I'm glad that's settled. U2 here I come! =D
Off to a cousin's birthday in a few. Yikes. Andun si Penguin. Yikes. Hehehe.
I'll make a short kwento lang about something that made me happy today at work. This is Callum. He's one of my favourite favourites talaga! I call him Monkey Boy cos I do this thing where he's sitting across my lap, facing me and I dangle him upside down with no hands and him hanging on to my neck or arms. He super loves that. He goes to me, "Suuuue Elllleen do that monkey thing again." Soooo cute. Anyway, apart from that I say to him all the time "I love you, I love you!!!" and give him cuddles and kisses. Today when mum picked him up, she said to me, "he was talking about you last night. We were on the bed and I say to him, 'love you Callum' and he says, 'love you mummy...and i love Sue Ellen.'" AWWWWWWWWWWW......... Can I please die now? Awwww..... I Am: tired

There's a kid at work, her name's Hayley, she belongs to Renee's class. I always call her Volcano Girl because she's so into volcanoes. As in mesmerized by everything about 'em. Anyway, before we went on Christmas break, and when I found out that she loves volcanoes, I told her about Taal volcano and that it's the smallest volcano in the world. I said I kinda live near it and I've seen it a dozen of times. Her face looked so psyched talaga! Sabi ko nga I'd give her a postcard when I go back but I forgot na. =( When we got back from holidays, the very first day I saw her, she goes to me, "Sue Ellen, Sue Ellen we saw your volcano on television!" Her mum told me that all she could talk about during the holidays was that volcano. =) Today, while I was with them, I saw her drawing quietly on the table. Then she came up to me and gave me this drawing: Then she said, "Sue Ellen, this is you in the Phee-luh-peens. That's you and that's the volcano." Awww... Ang cute ng drawing nya! May eruption eruption pa talaga. =) And its cute rin how she was trying to spell her name. My mom saw it, kala nya monster yung volcano. Anobaaa... I Am: happy
